Eddie Kerr from SEEDS toasts the news that his organisation recieved a Sir George Quigley award from Ulster Bank.
George Quigley Awards 2011 open
The Ulster Bank Sir George Quigley Awards 2011 are open for application.
Created to mark the contribution of the former Chairman iof the Ulster Bank, the awards have now been in operation since 2002.
An award of £10,000 is available to community and voluntary organisations to build sustainability.
Last year's winner, SEEDS from L/Derry, put their award to good use in the Cafe Del Mondo in the north west, which sources food produce locally to be sold in the community cafe, which is a successful social economy project.
